Day Five

Today, Dakotah took his final test in Vocabulary and got 100%! Yippee! After yoga, we chilled for a bit and I finished the dishes and tidied up a bit.

Then, we did yoga together. Dakotah thought this was quite funny and giggled a lot. If you've never seen these videos, they are great! The instructor takes kids on adventures around the world as she is performing yoga for the kids. It's fantastic! http://www.cosmickids.com/

We studied volcanoes next. It was so great! We learned five new words today:

• Extinct
• Dormant
• Lava
• Eruption
• Basalt

...and then we learned played a short Earth trivia game. We finished our lesson with discussing the inside of a volcano. He wanted to color his own cover for his volcano lapbook. He is so excited about learning, I LOVE it!!!
